Shramik Special train Labor (migrant workers) train tickets : Booking start from 11th May 2020 during Lockdown 3.0

Indian Railway announced to start some passenger trains from 12 May 2020 from Delhi. Booking to be start from 4 PM 11 May 2020. We had been watching flashing news about migrant workers in last few days. There was some rumors about railways in initial days of Lock down. AT that time major crowd was seen at Railway station in Mumbai. After that many news channel reported that migrant workers started journey on their own without public transport. On such a long journey, many of them faced the consequences. Indian Railway started shramik special train for migrant workers. Till today, appox 5 lacks migrant workers arrived in their native city through 468 Shramik special trains.

Today Indian Rail minister Piyush Goyal tweeted about trains.Trains will be connecting Delhi to major city of India. Initially 15 pairs of trains are scheduled. Only online tickets are to be booked and dynamic pricing will be applicable. Social distancing and other necessary action will be take strictly by railways. At first sight, it seems that ticket fare will be higher than normal one.

Tracking of E- pass to passengers

State Govt had been providing E-pass to migrant workers for their journey to other state. State Govt (Native) had to pay worker’s ticket fare for special train run in last few days. By issuing E-pass, state govt can track their journey activity easily which is very useful in case of Corona virus.

Central Government had been watching things very closely and future steps are preplanned. Lockdown 3.0 is to be over by next weeks but Covid 19 cases are still growing rapidly. We had seen a major de-growth in world economy in present scenario. Some of countries are relaxing in Lockdown measures . Indian Government is also stepping on same way to maintain economy growth. First Quarter of this financial year is not as per targetted.

By starting passenger trains, railways had sent message to all Indian not to panic. Everyone can go to their native or required place in coming days. We hope that passengers will not panic this time and take all required precautionary measures.
